Home from India

When the Elders in the church said to me, "We are not done, teach us some more!" I knew we were in heaven.  I had the privilege of preaching in churches, outside, on the roof, and in homes.  We prayed, ate, and traveled hundreds of miles to visit ministry sites in various stages of development.  The last two weeks were a time of amazing joy.  And only the beginning.

India is 85% Hindu, 12% Muslim, and 2% Christian.  I am passionate about translating JumpStart into Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil.  Then going back to train leaders how to make disciples one on one.  The leaders I met embraced the sixteen foundational sessions of JumpStart.  We will equip leaders to take JumpStart into metro, city, town, village, tribal, and forest church locations.  They will use it for leader training, evangelistic one on one conversations, and discipleship training.  I could not be more humbled and excited.

At a time when Compassion International is leaving India because of the government constraints, there is a wide open door for JumpStart and one on one discipleship.  Obviously, JMT is only one small part of the giant India puzzle.  But I want to train as many self replicating disciple making disciples as possible.  There is country winning power in discipleship multiplication.

In addition.  Ivan and Guillermo are working on the Spanish edition.  They want to train Spanish speaking church planters to raise up disciples in the USA and Mexico.  Dorival is finishing the Portuguese translation and praying how to get JMT into ten Portuguese speaking countries.  Swahili is in Africa, but it is time to take it to BIOLA for completion.  I am praying for French, Russian, and Mandarin partners.

A heartfelt thanks goes out to those of you who have supported JumpStart and I with your prayers, encouragement, and finances.  God is giving me a vision far beyond my ability to implement.  That is both humbling, intimidating, and exciting.  JumpStart is God's.  His Spirit guided the writing.  The product is His to use to His glory.  I am just excited to be allowed on the ride.

If you would like to help me translate or train I covet your partnership.  Mission support can be given to JumpStart through NorthPoint Christian Fellowship.  www.northpointsb.com

Keep me in prayer as I prepare to launch JumpStart in more churches, and as I meet with the leaders of denominations in several states.  The Military Chaplain Magazine should release this week.  God is opening wide doors!  Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah AMEN!

Blessings to you all,
Paul
