Any trip that begins with
"Drive one hour west, fly sixteen hours East, then go three and one half hours North
is off to a great start. After a two night layover in Dubai Frank and I will arrive in Hyderabad.
From the large city we will go to a smaller city. From the city we will head to the village church. Next is the tribal church. Then we head to the forest church. City, village, tribal, and forest.
Frank and I will have the privilege of doing church, VBS, prayer meetings, and preaching. We will speak with leaders about the possibility of translating JumpStart into Telugu. Over 75,000,000 people speak this language. It is second only to Hindi in India.
Please be in prayer for Frank and I as we travel. Be aware that Hindu, Muslim, and Christians share this country. Sometimes the sharing goes well, other times there is tension. So please pray that God gives us grace, power, love, wisdom, humility, and His perfect choice of spiritual gifts for this journey. Our desire is to go where God wants us to go, say what He wants us to say, and do what He wants us to do. Pray our spiritual eyes and ears are open to the people, places, situations, and opportunities He places before us. We look forward to coming home safely and sharing the awesome things God did in us, to us, and through us.
